We want everyone to be able to read the site comfortably, including people with disabilities. The site was built with the aim of meeting WCAG 2.1 Level AA guidelines and the requirements of Israeli Standard 5568.
What we have done
- Page layouts with organized headings, labeled navigation areas and a link to skip straight to the content.
- Keyboard navigation throughout the site, with a clear indicator of the selected element.
- Alternative text for images and illustrations.
- Sufficient color contrast for text and buttons.
- A layout that adapts to screens of all sizes and to text enlargement in the browser.
- Automatic disabling of motion for visitors who have enabled this setting in their operating system.
The site's adjustment tools
The round button in the corner of the screen and the "Accessibility tools" link at the bottom of every page open an adjustment panel. You can increase or decrease text size, enable high contrast or grayscale, highlight links, switch to a simple font, increase line and letter spacing, and stop motion. Your settings are saved in your browser.
Known limitations
Some older articles transferred to the site may not yet have been fully checked, and content on external websites we link to may not be accessible. We continue to check and improve.
